A message from New Directions Career Center

We want to assure you we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and continue to assess how to keep all members of our community as safe as possible.

At this time, we are taking the following measures effective today through April 3, 2020 (to be reassessed at that time):
The following program events are cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date:

  • Career Development Classes at Driving Park library, scheduled for March 17, 24 and 31, 2020
  • Advanced Career Techniques, scheduled for March 16, 17, and 18, 2020
  • 10-day program scheduled for March 23 – April 3, 2020
  • Orientation scheduled for March 16, 2020

We will continue to serve clients through our one to one services:

  • Employment services
  • Individualized career counseling
  • E3 case management
  • E3 emergency requests

At New Directions Career Center (NDCC) we know the life changing impact our services have on the lives of our clients. During this unprecedented time we are striving to find a balance between health safety and continuing to provide career services for women in need. Our counselors will continue to work with their clients individually. We encourage you to call NDCC to schedule one-on-one time for individual services.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience these cancellations may cause. NDCC is monitoring the evolving situation closely, following guidance from Columbus Public Health, Governor Mike DeWine, the Human Service Chamber, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the safety of our community. We aim to navigate these challenging circumstances with public safety in mind and sincerely thank you for your continued support.
