Women’s Leadership Circle (WLC) is a giving circle supporting core empowerment programming, including E3, YES!, and Women’s Advocacy & Board Leadership Training. It is integral to the support and services provided by New Directions. When you become a member of the Circle, you become a part of a community of and for women that provides professional and personal development, empowering women to overcome life-changing challenges in an accepting environment where no one needs to prove themselves. By becoming a member of WLC, you have the opportunity to:
- Impact the lives of tens of thousands of women to build the capacity to be resilient in the face of a changing job market
- Provide support to women who are participating in New Directions Career Center programming (YES-Your Employment Success, E3, and Women’s Advocacy Program) and resources that empower women to seize life and career opportunities wholeheartedly, with extensive services customized to their individual needs
- Be an ally and advocate contributing to the dismantling of systemic barriers
- Become a mentor to a fantastic woman who is transitioning in her career. Mentoring is an opportunity to inspire, care for, and support others while simultaneously transforming yourself at multiple levels: heart, mind, body, and soul. By mastering the art of mentoring, you can improve your capacity for purpose and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
- Connect with a diverse group of WLC members who are coming together to support and empower each other. When one woman helps another, amazing things can happen.
WLC is the spark that keeps clients of New Directions shining brightly.
